Cookie Notice

This notice explains how CineCLI uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage, what they do, and how you can control them.

Last updated: June 13, 2026 · Version 1.0

Summary. We keep cookies to a minimum. We use what is strictly necessary to run the site, a small amount of storage to remember your preferences (such as light/dark theme), and — where enabled — privacy-respecting analytics. You can clear or block this data through your browser at any time.

1. What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies — such as local storage and session storage — let a site keep small amounts of information in your browser. We use these technologies to make the site work, to remember your choices, and to understand how the site is used. They do not give us access to the rest of your device.

4. How to control cookies

You can manage or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies, delete existing ones, and clear site storage. Refer to your browser's help pages (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others) for instructions. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the site to stop working.

5. Third-party analytics

We may use a third-party analytics provider to measure aggregate usage of the site. Where we do, the provider may set its own cookies or identifiers, subject to its policies and, where required, your consent.

Operator note (remove before launch): Replace this with the actual analytics provider(s) in use, their cookie names and retention, and a link to their privacy/cookie policy. Remove this section entirely if no third-party analytics are deployed.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. Preference and analytics technologies may require your prior consent depending on your location (for example, under the EU/UK ePrivacy rules). Where required, we will ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies and will record your choice.

Operator note (remove before launch): A compliant consent banner / Consent Management Platform must be wired up before launch in jurisdictions that require prior consent (e.g. EU/UK). Ensure non-essential cookies are not set until consent is given, and that the cinecli-consent record reflects the user's actual choices.
