1. Respect for intellectual property
CineCLI respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users to do the same. Our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy prohibit using the platform to infringe copyright or other rights. We respond to clear, complete notices of claimed infringement in accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. §512.
2. Submitting a takedown notice
To report material you believe infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (see below) that includes all of the following elements required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works).
- Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it, such as the specific URL(s).
- Your contact information, including name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A good-faith statement that you believe the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Notices that omit required elements may not be actionable. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice may expose you to liability under §512(f).

4. Counter-notification
If your content was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to copyright@cinecli.com that includes, per 17 U.S.C. §512(g):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, any district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity.
5. Repeat-infringer policy
In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, we disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also remove content and take other action for violations of our Terms of Service.
6. Trademark, publicity & non-US rights
This policy addresses copyright under U.S. law. If you are outside the United States, or your claim concerns other intellectual-property or related rights — such as trademark or rights of publicity/likeness — please contact legal@cinecli.com. Concerns about misuse of a person's likeness may also be reported under our Responsible AI Policy at safety@cinecli.com.
